POSITION SUMMARY
Join the Flint Center as a Research Assistant and be involved in our exciting efforts to help Flint Kids Thrive! The Flint Center is driven by our mission of building an educational ecosystem that works for all Flint kids by providing programs, research, and advocacy that ensure Flint kids, their families, schools, and communities thrive.
This position will be expected to work from the Flint Center office in-person 2-4 days per week. Additionally, candidates should be prepared to travel to various sites across Flint for data collection. This travel is expected to occur twice a week, depending on need. The preferred candidate would be based in Flint, MI or surrounding area.

These programs and initiatives work together to improve academic outcomes and well-being for Flint kids. They are closely aligned to better serve students, parents, caregivers, and families.
The Flint Center is currently seeking a Research Assistant to join our team and work across all six cooperative efforts. The position offers an opportunity to gain first-hand data collection, data management and research experience on exciting evaluations of Flint Center programming.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

The Flint Center provides competitive packages for qualified staff. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
