Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care ~ Discipline: RN ~ Start Date: 07/29/2025 ~ Duration: 14 weeks ~36 hours per week ~ Shift: 12 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Job Description & Requirements \n \nRegistered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care - Travel - (NICU RN)\n \nStartDate: 7/29/2025 \nAvailable Shifts: 12 D \nPay Rate: $1959.42 - $2159.36 \n \nPosition Title: RN - Level Four-NICU\nLocation: Anschutz Medical Campus\nDepartment: Level Four NICU (Cost Center Number: 1001220)\nTrauma Level: Level I\nTotal # of Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries: 82\nNurse-to-Patient Ratio: 2:1\nLength of Assignment: 13 weeks\nDesired Orientation Date: 07/22/2025 or 7/29 only if a returning traveler\nShift: Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM\nFloat Requirement: may be required to float to acute care (level 6, 8 or 9) or ICUs (PICU or CICU); same shift time. Manager anticipates floating within NICU predominantly. If floated outside NICU will not take patients greater than 3 years of age.\n\nWeekend Requirement: Every other weekend; Friday, Saturday and Sunday night\nOn-Call Requirement: None\nHoliday Work Requirement: Would be required to work the night before Labor day or the night of Labor day.\n\nFLOAT: Client reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnel’s individual assignment confirmation).\n\nQualifications:\nEducation: BSN- Required. Will consider ADN with 8+ years level IV NICU exp in a teaching AND children's facility? \n\nLicensure/Certification: RN\nRequired Certifications:? BLS , NRP, PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)\nMinimum Clinical Experience Required: 2 years of Level IV NICU experience\nREQUIRED: Experience in a teaching hospital\nPreferred: Prior travel nursing experience\nPreferred: PICU experience is a plus , but NOT REQUIRED\n\nIVS TO OFFER - ***THIS IS A MANDITORY PHONE CALL have travelers standing by for an call***\n\nThis position is best suited for experienced NICU nurses who are comfortable working in a high-acuity, Level I trauma center.
