The Technical Product Owner plays a key role in ALABS, acts as a product pioneer, ensuring that products align with business needs and organizational goals. This role involves understanding business needs, gathering and analyzing requirements, defining product vision, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products. The TPO ensures that products align with business goals, customer needs, and market trends while leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position requires strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable product outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document product and technical requirements.

  • Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.

  • Act as a bridge between cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, UX, and business stakeholders.

  • Support backlog grooming and sprint planning by prioritizing features based on value, effort, and dependencies.

  • Conduct data analysis and user research to inform product decisions and improve user experience.

  • Track and communicate product milestones, risks, and trade-offs to relevant stakeholders.

  • Participate in Agile rituals to ensure product goals stay on track.

  • Facilitate alignment between technical implementation and business objectives throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Use metrics, feedback, and insights to recommend product improvements and influence future development.

  • Ensure consistent, clear communication with stakeholders at multiple levels to support transparency and engagement.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of product management experience.

  • Strong technical background (CS degree, engineering experience, or deep familiarity with cloud applications).

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and wireframing tools (Figma, Lucidchart, Visio).

  • Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Business Requirement Gathering & Documentation skills.

  • Experience in agile methodologies, lean development, and best engineering practices.

  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product, data, and commercial teams.

  • Experience in Software engineering, information technologies, Business analyst, or Product Ownership (Preferred)

  • Experience in a high-growth tech company or enterprise-level software development. (Preferred)
