Regional Sales Manager

Location: St. Louis, Missouri

We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead business development and customer growth initiatives within an assigned multi-state territory. This individual will be responsible for managing channel partners, cultivating direct relationships with OEMs and end users, and driving strategic sales growth across a technically demanding product portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in capital equipment or industrial systems sales, and a passion for customer success.

Job Details:

  • Lead territory growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with current accounts across industrial, manufacturing, and process sectors.
  • Manage and support channel partners and distributors, providing tools, training, and joint sales strategies to accelerate revenue.
  • Collaborate internally with engineering, service, and product teams to ensure seamless customer support from pre-sale through post-installation.
  • Identify and close complex technical sales by understanding customer processes, challenges, and ROI expectations.
  • Own regional forecasts and pipelines, maintaining accurate reports in CRM systems and contributing to national sales strategy.
  • Travel regularly within your region to meet with customers, conduct site visits, and attend industry events.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical, capital equipment, or engineered systems sales
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vacuum/rotating equipment, or industrial automation
  • Based around the St. Louis Metropolitan Area
  • Experience with industrial customers in sectors such as food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, or aerospace
  • A proven ability to work independently in a remote or field-based sales role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred (experience may substitute)
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote collaboration tool
