About The Role

The experienced Project Manager we are seeking is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and loves bringing in a project on time and on budget all while creating a fan club of internal and external customers. The ideal candidate has years of experience managing projects for signage, architectural or commercial construction firms and is excited by the opportunity to be in an environment where they can continue to grow and be recognized.
This position involves managing and successfully meeting the goals of the various stages of our projects – design, fabrication, and installation. This role is crucial for us as it has a direct impact on our revenue, gross profit and expansion!
Key Responsibilities
• The main responsibility of a Project Manager (PM) is to generate an assigned gross profit by controlling project labor/material costs and to bring the project in on time and on budget while creating a fan club.
• Collaborate with a designer to deliver submittals that accurately reflect the scope of work.
• Develop and schedule all the detailed steps that accomplish the goal for each project.
• Communicate effectively with Architects, Owners, General Contractors, and CSB team members.
• Develop scope and an estimate on projects that do not come from the estimating team. Typically, these kinds of projects will represent 20% of a PM’s overall projects.
• Understand and resolve any project’s actual vs. estimated issues.
• Conduct periodic on-site observation of projects.
• Responsible for procuring all materials needed to complete projects.
• Document all communication and decisions.
What We're Looking For
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent design projects from concept through production.
• Strong time management skills.
• The ability to interpret architectural drawings/specifications and or concept drawings/renderings/sketches, to
accurately determine or understand scope.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and visual.
• A collaborative spirit with a flexible, proactive approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting project needs.
• A curious, open-minded Project Manager who enjoys learning and contributing to a team.
Qualifications
• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Expertise in QuickBooks, environmental graphics, signage, exhibit, architectural, or industrial design is a plus.
