Position Summary
The Portfolio Loan Analyst successful candidate will have a high level of interaction with internal parties (accounting, trading, sales, legal, compliance, and structured finance) and external parties.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Understand various investor accounting systems and reports
· Reconcile and process remittance reporting
· Resolve reporting and remittance differences through loan level research
· Perform daily cash activity processing
· Perform daily bank account reconciliations
· Process purchase, sale, repurchase, and securitization loan transactions
· Validate and process advances, expenses, and servicing compensation in accordance with agreements
· Process mark-to-market and funding adjustment accounting entries
· Prepare outgoing wire requests
· Develop and maintain policy and procedures
· Comprehensive knowledge of loan administration; loan boarding, loan documentation, special loans, escrow, servicing transfers, investor reporting.
· Comprehensive knowledge of the sale and securitization process
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 5+ years investor reporting or master servicing experience
· Comprehensive knowledge of investor accounting and remittances
· Advanced proficiency with SBO.net
· Advanced Microsoft Excel
· Working knowledge of servicing system investor reporting files; Black Knight Financial Services, Fiserv, etc.
· Dynamic research and problem-solving skills
· Working knowledge of all investor reporting remittance types
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Attention to detail and organization
· High level of professionalism
A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role is $80,000-$90,000. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors.
