Job Description:
The Physical Security Systems Analyst supports, analyzes and optimizes the technology systems that underpin the organization's physical security operations. This role assists in the design, implementation and maintenance of physical security technologies, helping to define system protocols, controls and process improvements. The analyst ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily technical support and troubleshooting for physical security systems, coordinating with internal teams or vendors to resolve issues.
  • Assist in planning, installing, testing, maintaining and optimizing physical security technologies and infrastructure.
  • Perform quality control inspections on system installations and integrations to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop system documentation, configure reports, and provide end-user training and support.
  • Support departmental projects and contribute to the development of integration standards and site design playbooks.
  • Maintain system data integrity and enforce configuration standards for physical security platforms.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, risks and resolutions clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure all deployed systems meet IT and network standards and support audits or compliance reviews.
  • Respond to emergencies or participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule, as required.
Requirements:
  • Two to five years of experience as a technical systems analyst or business analyst (including relevant educational experience)
  • Experience in technical support for physical security, access control/CCTV or information security 
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level software solutions
  • Knowledge of data exchange formats such as XML, JSON, EDI X12, EDIFACT and delimited flat files (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with in-house custom solutions and commercial-off-the-shelf systems
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Advanced process mapping capabilities
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other health payer regulations
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail 
  • Certifications such as SAFe, PMP, IIBA Business Analysis, Lean Six Sigma or IT system certifications (preferred)
