Payroll & Time Attendance Specialist
Location: Monroe, NY (On-site)
Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000

Position Overview

As our Payroll & Time Attendance Specialist, you'll manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensure compliance across states, and streamline workforce time tracking. Your deep systems knowledge will help us scale, optimize, and stay 100% accurate every cycle.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll.
• Deep knowledge of payroll systems and time attendance platforms.
• Experience with timekeeping, accruals, and compliance practices.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and multi-jurisdiction reporting.
• In-person availability in Monroe, NY (no remote option).

The Ideal Candidate

• You’ve run multi-state payrolls and love the rhythm of clean processing.
• You’re the go-to person for fixing timekeeping or accrual issues.
• You’ve worked in UKG, ADP, Paycom, or similar platforms (UKG a bonus!).
• You’re comfortable managing timecards, audits, adjustments, and system updates.
• You value accuracy, timelines, and know how to troubleshoot under pressure

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Administer and maintain time & attendance systems.
• Manage corrections, retro pay, adjustments, and garnishments.
• Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Partner with HR and Finance for reporting, audits, and benefits deductions.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for payroll platforms and timekeeping policies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
• Familiarity with timekeeping systems (UKG, ADP, Kronos, Paycom, etc.).
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of payroll-related tax laws and compliance.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage confidential data.
