What Will You Be Doing?

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and maintaining various equipment typically found in a wood production facility.
• Anticipating and diagnosing mechanical problems to perform effective maintenance.
• Updating and maintaining routine inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Keeping designated areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Monitoring and optimizing stock inventories of tooling and equipment.
• Collaborating with suppliers on quality issues and specifications.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting any damage or mechanical problems.
• Recording operational data from meters, instruments, and gauges.

Who You Are

Do you have what it takes? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of industrial experience.
• The ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision.
• Skills in maintaining and adjusting equipment to maximize production.
• A professional attitude and a commitment to safety.
• Experience with good housekeeping practices in a facility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical skills, including bearing replacement and motor alignments.
• Willingness to work at heights or on elevated surfaces.
