We are thrilled to advertise the Inventory Analyst position for the Wonderfield Distribution (AFCDC)!

Position Overview

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels across the organization to support operational efficiency and service level goals. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing carrying costs, and improving supply chain performance through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across systems; support cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with purchasing, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure appropriate inventory levels
  • Prepare and present regular inventory reports and KPIs, such as inventory turns, fill rates, and stockouts
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Support forecasting efforts and identify safety stock requirements
  • Assist with the implementation of new tools and processes related to inventory management
  • Partner with IT and operations to improve system accuracy and workflow efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Analytics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory, demand planning, or supply chain analytics
  • Experience in food distribution and retail preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, BC)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
  • Knowledge of lean inventory practices and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
