Job Description

As a GTM AI Engineer at Lindy, you will be the hybrid technical sales powerhouse that drives revenue through AI-powered automation and deep customer expertise.

You'll own the entire sales funnel for complex outbound campaigns, combining the roles of SDR and AI Automation Engineer into one technical position.

Using Lindy's powerful AI agent platform, you'll do the work of 3+ traditional sales team members.

We are an in-office company, working from our San Francisco office 4 days a week. We do sponsor visas and cover relocation fees for up to $20,000.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end sales cycles for enterprise outbound campaigns, from prospecting to close, targeting clients focused on results-driven sales automation

Deep ICP research and audience definition before any campaign launches, ensuring messaging precision and campaign success

Build and iterate on messaging strategies through continuous A/B testing and campaign optimization (expect 3+ months of constant tinkering per client)

Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, SMS, voice, and more

Design and build sophisticated AI agent workflows within Lindy that seamlessly integrate with CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and other enterprise systems to create truly autonomous sales operations

Create agentic workflows that handle complex, multi-step processes from initial outreach through qualification, nurturing, and handoffs providing a white-glove experience at scale

Track and optimize for reply rates as the golden metric, managing campaigns sending thousands of messages per month

Provide technical consultation to enterprise clients on sales automation strategy and implementation, architecting end-to-end solutions that transform their GTM operations

Partner with product teams to influence roadmap based on real customer feedback and GTM needs

Must-haves

Proven track record in B2B sales with experience owning deals from prospecting to close

Deep expertise with sales automation tools like Clay, Apollo, Outreach, or similar platforms

Strong technical aptitude for building complex workflows and troubleshooting automation systems

Experience with multi-channel outbound (email, LinkedIn, SMS) and understanding of channel-specific best practices

Data-driven mindset with experience running A/B tests and optimizing campaigns based on metrics

Exceptional communication skills for both technical implementation and executive-level client relationships

High tolerance for iteration and willingness to constantly tinker with messaging and campaigns

Ability to work in person 4 days a week from our San Francisco office

Nice-to-have

Agency or consulting experience in sales automation or GTM

Engineering background or experience with APIs and technical integrations

Experience at high-growth SaaS companies scaling outbound operations

Background with AI/ML tools and prompt engineering

RevOps or sales operations experience

Track record of building processes from 0 to 1
