Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to support and enhance our enterprise data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in developing Collibra workflows, integrating data systems, and maintaining data quality frameworks. This role will also contribute to managing metadata, master data, and business glossary content, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Collibra workflows to enable data governance processes.
• Build and manage integrations between data systems and governance tools using middleware platforms.
• Write and maintain data quality rules to measure and monitor data health.
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with tools and integrations.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
• Support implementation of governance frameworks related to data quality, master data, and metadata management.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills (e.g., Java, Groovy, or similar languages).
• Experience with system integration and middleware solutions.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Solid understanding of data governance concepts, including:
• Data quality management
• Master data management (MDM)
• Metadata management
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java or Groovy.
• Experience with Mulesoft or similar middleware platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra tools:
• Collibra Data Intelligence Platform (DIP)
• Collibra Data Quality
• DQLabs
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data stacks, especially AWS Redshift and Databricks
