Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us: Job Details: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, including but not limited to, on-site management, coordination of subcontractors, direct communication with project owners and architects, and project closeout. This role is essential in ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standard of quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing a wide variety of construction projects and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams. As our projects often involve the construction and renovation of educational facilities, experience with K-12 and pre-school construction is highly desired. Why join us?

Job Details Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation.
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
  • Ensure all construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management with a focus on educational facilities (K-12, pre-school).
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
  • Proficient in construction software programs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • OSHA 30 Hour certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel to different job sites as required.
