Job Description

BIM Designer Location Remote in Miamisburg, OH : Accelevation is seeking a talented and motivated VDC/BIM Modeler to join our team. This position offers flexibility to work remotely or locally in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD drawings, Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. This role requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to large groups on construction and engineering calls. Key Responsibilities:

• CAD Drawings: Create and maintain detailed CAD drawings for customers and internal installation teams working on datacenter projects.
• Revit Modeling: Develop and manage Revit models to support project design and construction.
• Navis Integration: Utilize Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Autodesk Construction Cloud: Manage project data and collaboration using ACC.
• Communication: Present project updates and technical information to large groups during construction and engineering calls.
• Self-Starting: Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in VDC/BIM modeling, preferably in datacenter projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks required. Additional experience with other 3D modeling programs, SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape, is a bonus!
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to large groups. Ability to effectively markup drawings to share with other teams to ensure consistency in manufactured materials.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and keep all stakeholders updated on progress.
• Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
