Bond Consultants is a dynamic firm which provides professional employment services to many people with different backgrounds and skills. One of our clients - agriculture business company - is currently looking for an Interpreter. This position pays $55K-60K base. This position is full-time, direct hire, on-site and exempt.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase the required amount of grain at the best possible price, taking into consideration quality, grain type and logistics.
• Interpret Japanese/English during meetings between American companies and Japanese personnel
• Gather, analyze, centrally organize, and communicate information on trends in the U.S. market, which come from English sources, and translate to Japanese.
• Coordinate, arrange, oversee, and record all storage and transportation of purchased corn from the point of origin to delivery in Japan.
• Engage in international outside sales for new products produced by the parent company

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of work experience
• Professional Japanese/English translation and interpretation skills
• Experience/interest in grain trading with a concentration in corn is a plus.
• GPA 3.00 or higher with JLPT N1 for college graduates.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Willing to travel often.
• Open to all majors; interest in agribusiness is a plus.
