Job Description

Cramer is a brand experience and content marketing agency. Cramer Health is our healthcare division with a strong focus on patient programs and communities. Our job is to communicate important information, insight, and innovation; we do it through content and experiences that inspire, educate, and motivate patients and connects our clients to their most important audiences.

We are seeking an ACD, copy to join our Cramer Health team.

As part of Cramer Health’s team, you’ll serve as both a strategic thinker and a hands-on writer, overseeing content that engages patients, healthcare professionals, and other professional audiences; while ensuring our work adheres to regulatory, legal and medical guidelines. Your work will include researching and defining content needs for our clients; and creating, reviewing, and refining content across several different large health accounts.

You’re also:

  • very familiar with pharmaceutical patient support programs and understand their many intricacies
  • experienced working directly with senior clients—both pitching new ideas and collaborating and partnering with clients to drive results from day-to-day work
  • experienced with guiding and mentoring teams to produce high quality content across media – ensuring that the team’s work meets with program strategy, content strategy, and brand objectives
  • a thorough editor and an exceptional writer with a proven track record
  • the keeper of a brand’s tone of voice and fully understanding the nuances of its content

Above all, you’re a well-rounded communicator. A person who can combine strategy and creativity—and align them with regulatory—to produce big ideas and strong copy. And you do it all while working closely with various internal and external teams to help make a difference in patients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client brand, strategies, and marketing goals
  • Analyze, edit, and create content supporting those goals
  • Write, reference, and annotate content in preparation for medical/legal review in a deadline-driven environment
  • Organize and adjust content for clarity, comprehension, logic, structure, flow, and appropriateness for audience and project type
  • Lead some projects while supporting others, in service to multi-channel campaigns
  • Partner with external clients and internal teams including design, strategy, and your fellow content team members
  • Simplify research to convey educational messages while being approachable, original, and engaging
  • Use client brand guidelines to ensure our content is on-brand, on-message, and punctuation-perfect
  • Adapt content to a range of media including video, animation, social, print, and digital

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience as a senior writer, copy supervisor, or Associate Creative Director in pharmaceutical or healthcare or spaces (Experience writing for Patient Support Programs strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to understand and write within regulatory guidelines
  • Flexible self-starter who is willing to learn, adjust and adapt
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; open to feedback and guidance and able to give it other team members
  • Ability to produce high-quality, high-volume content independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Health Savings Account, including employer contribution
  • Retirement Plan (401K) with company match
  • Profit Share Bonus Plan
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Family Leave
  • Short Term & Long-Term Disability
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Wellness Resources, including discounted membership to Lifetime Fitness
  • Generous onsite café
