Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated armed security officer to ensure the safety and protection of our client's assets in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.Our ideal candidate must be a retired or active law enforcement officer.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to exercise discretion regarding the use of your firearm;
• Submit incident reports to the US Security Care operations team;
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence;
• Perform site specific tasks in accordance with organizational policy and practices;
• Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTVs) periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts;
• Protect client and assigned locations from harassment, physical attack, vandalism, and other unauthorized treatment.

Qualifications:

• Neat and professional appearance
• 3 years of armed security experience
• Must possess a valid SORA license
• Must possess a valid NJSP RPO
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to pass criminal background check AND pass drug screening

Important Information: Armed Security Officer Certification (Red card) is a requirement for a private security officer to carry armed while working. It is not the only requirement; it must also be accompanied by a permit to carry.
